Hey guys, hope you are having an awesome Thursday. I've been stuck with chronic headaches unfortunately since Monday. I think I need to see a doctor about it soon. What made me fell better though was I realized this morning that I have now reached 240 followers! Thank you all so much for you interest in Beautyspot. You all inspire me to do better and improve this blog :)

For today's poll, I want to ask you about your favourite texture when using foundations. I thought of this question today as it's my third day of wearing Nars Sheer Glow and realized this foundation has renewed my faith in liquid foundation (review is upcoming this weekend). I have use all sorts of foundation in the past; from liquid, to gel (water based), to powder and cream. I don't have perfect skin and foundation has always been a must for me. I say that liquid is still my fave as it covers better and I have a freer hand to blend the foundation as much as I like. I do like powder for a quick look when I want to be done in less than 5 minutes. My only experience with gel type foundation has been MUFE F&B which is a fave of mine. I love this cooling texture for the summer. I've only had negative experience with cream foundation though, I find that it feels heavier and I look shiny on the oilier part of my skin (I have combination skin).

What type of foundation do you prefer? What is your favourite foundation?

Oh I feel you, I have my fair share of chronic headaches and it annoys the hell out of me!

I prefer powder foundations, because it's so easy and quick to use!

I waffle between liquid and powder...MUFE HD and MAC MSF Natural. I normally don't wear ANY though...look at me go :|

Also...your followers are out of control! I can't seem to get past the mid sixties :( I really want to hit 100 though, so I can do my giveaway.

Carine - what do you usually do about the headaches? I've taken a couple of tylenol but hasn't helped.

I agree powder foundation is great when you want a quick use

Shayla - You're lucky you don't need foundation. I wish I had perfect skin like you :/

It took me a while to reach 100 but after I had my giveaway the numbers doubled it seems :)

I love liquid foundation, I prefer it over the rest because I love how natural it feels on my skin. Powder is fast, but I find it doesn't last as long as liquid (at least on my face) and it always ends up getting into my fine lines. Same goes for cream but I find the Cover FX foundation (the creamy one I got recently) has an amazing texture and staying power.

I use MAC Full Cover as concealer or just on very special occasions when I know I'll be photographed and just use it for a couple of hours.

Aww, I have chronic headaches too. Hope you feel better soon! It's definitely worth getting a doc to check you out because it could be signs of neurological damage. I have migraines and they make sure I get a checkup every year before they give me more meds. The doctor I spoke to said it was always better to take *something* anti-inflammatory for them though, even if you don't feel like it's working b/c inflammation in your brain can be really bad.

I've always worn powder/mmu foundation before but I'm in the process of looking for a new liquid foundation or TM ... so I don't know yet! I never really considered cream or gel because I'm combo oily on the sensitive side.

Beda - I know powder doesn't last long on me in the summer either, it's good for the winter though I still prefer liquid.

Catherine - thank you so much :) I do need to see a doctor soon, I was feeling better today fortunately though. I've been suffering from headache and insomnia as well for the longest time.
I really recommend the Nars sheer glow if you're just starting with liquid. It feels like lotion when you apply it and it's super light. I'll do a review on it soon :)
