Here's a back to basic look for you guys. You know I love my red lips, I always end up coming back to this type of looks. It isn't anything super special but I thought I share anyways. Also, I love my Nars Dragon Girl matte velvet pencils. These pencils are great coz though they are in pencil form, they are actually long wearing lipsticks and you don't need to line your lips with them. So far I have three but need to add to my collection. Haven't bought any Nars pencil the entire 2010, lol!

Oh and I'm still testing MAC's new Pro Longwear foundation and still liking it. How do you think it looks on my face?

Here we have one of my rare green NOTD. Unlike many nail enthusiasts, I'm not a huge fan of green polishes. I do like dark greens though, the ones that could be considered vampy shades. On my nails I have MAC Jade Dragon which was released with Nail Trends 10/11 this past August. This polish is a deliciously dark green with a slight bit of shimmer. The formula was amazing, I really could have got away with one medium coat but I did two. I'm quite impressed with MAC's new nail polish formula.

So yeah I did not actually buy She Who Dares MES from MAC's Venomous Villains collection, but I was inspired by the duo to create this look. I liked the result and realized it has been a while since I wore my Style Black MES. I should really give them more love.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. Mine is great coz I only have 4 more days of work before my one-week vacation, yey!

I finally had a decent night sleep and am up to all the errands I need to run today. But first things first, blogging!

I was lucky enough to try out the new Marcelle Lux Metallic Liquid Eyeliners and Lux Diamond Liquid Eyeliners. Both of these eyeliners retail for $11.95CAD and are available at your local drugstores.

The Lux Metallic Eyeliners are liquid liners with some sheen and frost. I love these layered over black liner or a a matching liner. I think this is a very neat product that can add some ooooomph to your basic coloured liner and spice up you look. You can also dot it over matching eyeshadow (a look I shall be trying soon).

I gotta say Aqua is my favourite, nothing like a pop of metallic blue with an otherwise simple eye look.

The Diamond Liquid Liners are glitters in clear base and apply like your average liquid liners. I adore these two! I don't wear glitter as much as I think I should but these two shades (Pure Gold and Silver) are great addition to my stash. They're basic enough to be layered over other shades yet they're so blingy, have a look:

Both types of liners are super easy to apply and don't take long to dry. I would say about 2-3 minutes with is average time for glitter liners (as per my experience). Once applied, they do not budge until you take them off.

I bought a few things from MAC's Venomous Villains last Thursday. I didn't think I would like this collection as much as I did in person. I haven't played with everything yet but I did wear Toxic Tale l/s and Bite of An Apple blush yesterday and love love love these two!

Toxic Tale - I already have sooo many pinky coral lipsticks and really didn't want to be tempted by this one but I did! I'm glad I bought it though, it's a gorgeous shade on my skintone. I made it more orange and less pink by lining and filling the lips with Temperature Rising first.

Bite of an Apple - I have only one coral blush and that's Nars Gilda which I adore. But this one is more of a red coral and very beautiful "fresh" shade on my cheeks.

I cannot believe it's already October. September totally flew by me without noticing. October is going to be a good month just coz it seems like it's easing up a bit at work and also there's the one week vacation.

Here's the third Cult of Cherry inspiration, Shadowy Lady quad. I used similar shade and made the eyes a bit smokey but still day appropriate. I'm also testing the new pro longwear foundation. Would let you know how I like it after I get more use out of it.
