Sorry for the lack of posts these couple of days. I was on site inspection all day Thursday and Friday so I never got a chance to get to a computer. I'm back now with a post about my new nail polish organization solution.

I got these boxes from Home Sense for a steal. As you can see the top box has compartments, exactly like the box I use to organize my lipsticks except the compartments are much bigger. I use the top box to store my "summer/spring" colours by category. I have blues/teals, copper/orange/yellow, reds. pinks, nudes,... I have my darker and more cold weather nail polishes stored in the box below. This has made life so much easier for me. It takes me way less time to select my colour. So overall time saved, as I change my nail polish every second day and sometimes every day.

After posting about my new lipstick storage, I decided I post my entire vanity area here too. I store my makeup in the two top drawers of my vanity and the rest is for lingerie, tanks, scarves....

I used to just keep all my lipsticks in a basket and it took me forever everyday to find the lippie I was looking for. I finally decided it was time to revamp my lipstick storage. I bought this cute box from Winners and just added the compartments by cutting cardboard to the size of my lipsticks. My husband actually helped a lot with this...I guess he was tired of hearing me complain about my inconvenient storage. Hahah!! He's definitely a keeper. So here's what we made together:



As you can see, now there's room for a tone more. Now I just have to reorganize the rest of my makeup (they're mostly in plastic IKEA storage boxes).

Yesterday I also noticed that Head2toe has the China Glaze Summer Days Collection! So I made an order for some of the polishes I wanted from that collection plus some more. Here's what I ordered:
