Hi loves! I am loving my nails today. I'm sporting Zoya Daul from their fall 2012 collection and it's every bit as gorgeous on the nails as it is in the bottle:

Daul is a shimmering medium purple with multicoloured sparkles. I love how it looks under the sunlight. The only issue is that it's a bit sheer. Though not too sheer to put me off. I was still able to get opaque colour after two coats. Here are some more pictures, different lighting:

What is on your nails today?

Orly's Cosmix FX was in my opinion one of the best nail polish collections ever made. Heck, it probably was the most unique one. I bought three of the shades and featuring the second one today. Out of this World is a sultry dark blue purple with gold shimmers all through. I love how Orly does their new shimmer nail polishes, they're quite opaque and the sparkles are dense. I absolutely love this shade and thought I share a pic with you guys.

YES! It's finally fall and I can wear my vampy nail polishes. I mean there's no rules as to when to wear what shades but I'm kinda cliche and reserve my dark nail polishes for fall. The shade I'm sporting today is China Glaze First Class Ticket from their Vintage Diva fall collection. It's a deliciously dark purple shade with slight shimmer. I tend to have some application issues with ChG and find most of the polishes either too thin or too thick. But this one was perfect in performance. I usually change my nail polish every other day but I think I'll keep this one more more day :D

Here's a two coat swatch for ya:

I bit the bullet and coughed out $25 for Chanel's Paradoxal nail polish. I don't usually spend this much on a nail polish but I loved Paradoxal so much! It's a complex colour too; I would say like a purple toned gray in cream finish if that makes any sense. The application was a breeze. I could have done one coat only but went with two.

Here's two coats on my nails:

I cane see Paradoxal quickly becoming a fall favourite of mine. What are some of your favourite fall nail polishes?

Grape Juice by China Glaze has been in my stash since I purchased it with their Summer Days collection last year. For some reason though I wear this particular shade a lot, I kept forgetting to post a swatch on my blog. I like Grape Juice as first of all it's purple (duh!) and also come with China Glaze signature glass flake finish. It looks gorgeous under sunlight. I bought most of the polishes in that collection as I just adore the glass finish. The only negative thing about this shade is that you definitely need 3 coats or you'll have a poor colour payoff. I would even do 4 coats except I'm too lazy for that.

Here's a swatch of it on my nails:

Happy Saturday everyone! It's sunny here in Ottawa but bone cracking cold! We're going to a cottage in Gatineau tonight to celebrate one of my friends' 30th birthday. It's a 3km hike to get there from where we leave the car so I'm happy to be inside for now!

I'm wearing one of the colours from OPI's Alice in Wonderland. This one is called Mad as a Hatter and I'm kidding you not, this is my favourite nail polish ever! This is a bold statement as I own 120 bottles of nail polish but I love this one the most! When OPI delivers, they REALLY deliver! It's a gorgeous purple, silver, blue...glittery polish that applies like a dream, dries super fast and results in a gorgeous affect. Here, see it for yourself below (2 coats):

After a month of owning (and wearing) this nail polish, I finally remembered to take a picture of it on my nails. OPI Merry Midnight is a beautiful purple with a red based and has a tone of multi-coloured glitters and flakeys. This is my first experience with flakeys and I must say that I loooove the affect. The only negative thing with this polish is that you do need three coats to make it opaque. But once it is opaque, it's a beauty and very season appropriate. I felt festive wearing it all day long.

And I must say, the picture does not do this nail polish justice!

I got home from work at 10 pm last night and since I only was able to eat at 10:30 pm, I didn't sleep very well. And I was back to work at 7 am today. I think if things aren't too crazy today I will leave early and go to the gym for an hour to relax a little bit. I cannot wait till this week (and our crazy work rush) is over and I go to TO!

I'm wearing China Glaze Sci Fi on my nails from their Krome collection. It's a beautiful metallic nail polish that looks silver in dim light but during the day it definitely has a lilac touch to it. It even looks like a silvery blue under some light. I looooove this colour, it's totdally me and it applied so well. I can see me wearing this a lot (though I say that all the time, but I have so many nail polishes that I don't wear anything a lot!).

This polish looked good in one coat but I applied two just in case:

Wild At Heart by Color Club is part of their fall collection of the same name. I received this nail polish with my latest VNS haul and finally got to wear it today. I already have loads of purple nail polishes but somehow I just can't seem to have enough purples. Wild At Heart is a a medium holo purple polish that glows in the sun. It has a mirror reflective shine to it and is just beyond gorgeous. This polish was also a breeze to apply. I could get away with one coat only but I did two.

Here's a picture of this beauty on my nails:

I'm not a huge fan of nail designs as I changed my nail polish so frequently (everyday) that I find it kind of a wasted effort. But I wanted to experience more with layering of my sheer and glittery nail polishes. I used a layer of Misa I Will Survive which is a shiny black opaque in one coat polish. I let it air dry and then layered with one coat of Misa Candy Girl polish. Candy girl is a sheer polish with pink and blue glitters. Once layered together, it looks like I'm wearing dark super glittery purple nail polish. Yeah, I said purple! I don't know why it photographed blue, it was in fact purple!

Anyway, I thought I share this, I keep staring at my nails, lol!!

Sexy Divide is definitely up there as my top purple nail polish (it ties with Color Club Electronica and OPI Louvre Me Louvre me Not). It's a very dark purple and came out I believe in fall 2008. I actually have quite a few Essies from fall 2008 collection and love them all. They need to do more edgy colours like this.

On the other hand, right now that I look at my nail pictures I'm not happy with the condition of my fingers; they look so freakin dry. I need to use my Lush cuticle cream more. I so envy bloggers like Scrangie and their prefct nails :/ Though I'm very happy with the shape and lenght of my fingers and nails, I don't like how dry they get, especially from September till the end of winter.

Anyway, enough rambling about, here's 2 coats Sexy Divide on my nails:

I'm still trying to swatch my entire nail polish stash. But I keep buying more polishes still and now I'm so freakin behind! Anyway, this is China Glaze's Flying Dragon which I believe was from their Ink collection. It's a neon polish and therefore for me it needs a shiny topcoat to complete the look. Flying Dragon is a gorgeous bright purple that just glows in the sunlight. Unfortunately I always have application issues with China Glaze (with the exception of Romantiques) and their neons are the worst. I still love the colours they make so I keep going back, lol!

Here's Electronica by Color Club on my nails. And I gotta tell you, it looks purple IRL, I don't know it photographs sorta blue! I tried so many different settings and angles but it didn't matter. Anyway, it's a dark purple with subtle red/pink glitters. It' sooooo beautiful. I'm honestly in love with Color Club polishes now. If I were to buy one brand for the rest of my life, this would be it, lol! Too bad I don't know of any stores that sells Color Club. I always have to order online.

Anyway, here it is. I applied 2 coats:

Another polish I keep forgetting to photograph. I've actually been wearing this since Sunday hence the little bit of tip wear. Orly's Cashmere Cardigan was released this past spring and is a blue toned purple. I have tones of blues and purples but nothing that looks quite like this one. I would say it's probably very unique in the world on nail polishes. It applies well, looks very chic on and is totally opaque in two coats. Orly is another brand I'm always impressed with. The quality is as good as OPI IMO.

This is two coats, in the sun light.

As promised, this is the second polish in my small haul, Color Club Ultra Violet. This is the most gorgeous duochrome type colour ever. The base is purpley pink but it had a blue/green flash. It's really beautiful. I just keep staring at it. I think I'm really loving Color Club now. This is the third polish I've tried on my nails from them and each of them have applied like a dream, dried fast and the colours are gorgeous.

This is 3 coats, but the sky is sorta overcast, so my camera doesn't do it justice.

I've had this nail polish for a few months but never got a chance to post a picture of it on my nails. It's a beautiful holographic polish by Color Club and I'm pleasantly surprise by how easily it applied and how long it lasted on my nails. I will definitely be getting more Color Clubs; so far I only have three.

Here's a picture of Fashion Addict on my nails, 2 coats.

This is Done Out in Deco from OPI's South beach collection. This polish applied very well and was perfectly opaque in two coats. I still haven't received my H2T order :( I guess my luck has run out and from now on I will receive my US packages after 20 days like most Canadians!

This is pre clean up so please excuse the messy application.

Here's a swatch for China Glaze Harmony from their Romantique Collection. I received this over a month ago and have worn it three times already, but somehow I keep forgetting to take pics of it. But here it is, especially for you Shayla ;)

Btw, this is more purple IRL, I don't know why it's sorta bluish here
