YES! It's finally fall and I can wear my vampy nail polishes. I mean there's no rules as to when to wear what shades but I'm kinda cliche and reserve my dark nail polishes for fall. The shade I'm sporting today is China Glaze First Class Ticket from their Vintage Diva fall collection. It's a deliciously dark purple shade with slight shimmer. I tend to have some application issues with ChG and find most of the polishes either too thin or too thick. But this one was perfect in performance. I usually change my nail polish every other day but I think I'll keep this one more more day :D

Fall is definitely here now. As a person who prefers cooler temperature and has issues with heat, I'm welcoming fall with open arms. Also, fall means bolder lips shades that I'm always drawn to. I've actually been accumulating a bunch of vampy lipsticks this summer to my existing stash and will do a haul/review post on them soon. For today though, I wanted to feature one of MAC's best lipsticks in their perm line, Rebel. Rebel is a gorgeous dark fuchsia shades with some purples mixed in. It's one of the easiest vampy shade out there to wear because of all the pink tones.

I paired it with Dior's Misty Mauve quint on the eyes. Hope you guys like this :)

This is the first look I did for the series of b-day I attended last Saturday. This party started at 4 pm so this is more of a day look. I love wearing pink and purple together but I don't think I have done this colour placement for the two shades before.

My Monday's been very busy so far. I'm eating lunch as I'm typing and have two more site visits to do before the end of today. I'll probably be working late (hey, what else is new?).

I picked up Zoya Kotori about two months ago and just last remembered to wear it! It's a gorgeous shimmery deep blue violet. It's actually a very hard colour to photograph and describe but it's stunning in person. It's one of those shades I can see looking great on everyone. This polish is on the thinner side though so you will need three coats at least. Excuse a bit of tip wear as I only too pictures on the third day of wearing this:

Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend so far. Hubby and I had a busy weekend socially and attended three b-day parties. I changed my look for two of them and will be posting the FOTD's throughout the week. This is the look I wore to the party last night and I went for my signature red lips. Instead of doing neutral eyes or black smokey eyes, I turned the smokyness into more of a cat-eye.

I was happy with how this came together. Hope you guys like this look too :)

Hey guys! I'm in a much better place now and hoping to be able to blog regularly and with more passion again. We had a golf tournament with the folks at work yesterday and it was a tone of fun. There were about 100 of us in teams of 4 and though I'm not a golfer (or care for golfing), I still had a blast since I liked my team (oh, my boss was on my team).

I didn't want to get back into blogging with a mediocre look, but this is the look I did for the office/golfing yesterday. It's not super special but I always like gold and green together. Hope your guys like it too and hope you all have a great weekend :)

Hey lovelies! I did this look over three weeks ago and totally forgot to post it. Seeing as I'm not really in a creative blogging mood right now, I thought I might as well dig this one out.

My apologies for the lack luster posts these last couple of weeks. I'm in a continuous state of stress and lack of sleep due to many big deadlines colliding at work. Most days I just leave the house with mascara and blush and get home so late that I just wanna read a little of my latest book obsession, The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, and then sleep.
