Well, you would be shocked too if you knew that even though I have loads of makeup, I do not own a single lip liner. Or I should say I DID not own a lip liner as until this past weekend as I never lined my lips. I just didn't think it necessary. Now I used to line my lips with black khol pencil when I was a teenager and used to wear all these gothic looks, but never really did have an actual lip liner.

I picked up Annabelle's waterproof lip liner in Bordeaux. As the name implies, this is a wine coloured shade that I picked up to go with my now respectable stash of dark and vampy lipsticks such as Kirsch, Night Violet,.... Here's a picture of it:


I'm already a big fan of Annabelle as a drugstore brand. I use their black eye kohl pencil quite often and I find it's dark, does not move and applies easily. I've been trying this lipliner and it has the exact same qualities. Plus it just glides on without tucking at my lips. When I picked it up at Pharmaplus I tested it on the back of my hand, here it is:


Hours later, no matter how much I tried, I could not remove it from my hand until I used makeup removing wipes. So it's definitely resistant and the colour goes perfectly with the lipsticks I intend to wear this with (see my next post). I still don't think I'll be getting more lipliners. Maybe just two more from Annabelle in hot pink and red colourd to go with my bright pink and red lipsticks. I still don't think it's necessary for lighter colours lipsticks, but that's just me.

Anyways, ladies in Canada or anyone else who has access to Annabelle, make sure you try these out. It's great quality product and the price is right. I got mine for $5.95 CAD.
