Russian Navy - Mattified

Everyone has Russian Navy (by OPI), right? If you have it, you gotta try it under Essie's Matte About You. I know OPI actually did a matte Russian Navy last month but I don't have that to compare. I just layered my good old regular Russian Navy with MAY. I love the result! I must say MAY was a great buy. I'm loving all the matte combos I've done so far and this top coat has worked with all brands of nailpolish in my possession (OP, ChC, CC, Essie, Orly and Misa) equally well.

Here's two coats of Russian Navy plus one coat of MAY.

    This combo is really pretty! I love how you matted it, although I do love it shiny too!

    Thanks :) I love it shiny as well, but matte was new and cool :D Russian Navy is def one of the best polishes ever

    Stephanie - I didn't think I would like matte but I'm pleasantly surprised. The Essie MAY is kinda satin so it looks amazing and is so soft to touch (lol, if that matters)
