Thursday Poll - Fave Nail Polish Finish

Unlike the last couple of days, I'm in the office today and need to catch up with all the emails and write my reports since last Friday. This is a short week as Monday was a holiday and it definitely feels like the days are speeding past me.

For today's poll, I thought to ask you about your favourite nail polish finish. I thought of this post as I was painting my nails last night with OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui (will be posted tonight). I enjoy all finishes of nail polish. When it comes to my nails, as I do with my makeup, I enjoy variety. I tend to wear creams most of the time but I also mix it up with shimmer, glitter, matte and holo finishes. Because cream is the most practical finish for me, most of my nail polish stash has cream finish. I love glitter and holo for the weekends and I enjoy a coat of Essie's Matte About You topcoat when I'm digging a flatter look. I think mattes add an interesting dimension to my nails. When it comes to shimmer and sparkle finish, I prefer them in the summer months.

    I prefer creme and shimmer finishes. I don't like glitter all too much. It feels rough on my nails and is a pain to get off. I can also appreciate a holo finish.

    Jackie - I know glitters are a pain in the butt to remove. That's why I wear them on special occasions! They pretty to look at though

    I love the polish and sophistication of a cream (no pun intended), but definitely will reach for glitter sometimes! (if I'm in the mood to take it off after, lol)
