I like this light green holo! It's actually much more green than it shows in the pic. For some reason the pic made it look more silver. I like how China Glaze holos apply. But I find they chip faster than their regular formula polish.

I was so excited about the pretty colours I had on my eyes that I totally forgot to put on mascara. This is the second time this has ever happened to me! I feel like the look is definitely not complete without the mascara. I only noticed it when I got to the office. I ran around till I found one of the girls who carries a mascara with her and borrowed hers. Her mascara was sorta dried out too but better than nothing I guess. So the first two pics are without the mascara, the second two are with!

Has this ever happened to anyone? Did you totally panic like I did? lol!

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had an amazing weekend and are ready for Monday. I wore this metallic look to lunch with hubby today. He actually loves metallics on me. His second fave look for me is red lips (which I do quite often). I used my beloved Goldilux yet again. I cannot rave enough about this pigment. Despite owning so many gold shades, Goldilux is my fave by far!

Here's the look, hope you guys like it. Btw, my eyebrows are now more spaced out. I prob make them a little shorter next week depending on how much I like them till then, lol!

I have a selected number of Stila products and have always been impressed by the quality of this brand. Stila is quite expensive here in Canada and they don't ship here from their website so I always read many reviews before buying their products. My latest obsession is their Topaz Kajal Liner:



Topaz is a creamy peachy nude shade that applies smoothly on the skin; it pretty much glides right on. I've been searching for a colour like Stila Topaz pretty much since I started wearing makeup (age 15). I've seen some women wear white liner in their waterline but honestly that's not my cup of tea. I don't even think really fair girls can pull off the white liner thing as nobody is naturally casper white.

I love how this pencil because the colour is very natural. It's not too warm or too cool. The quality is also amazing and it pretty much lasts on my waterline all day. There's minimal fading but nothing that would worry me much. To summarize, these are some of the ways you can use Topaz:

- To line your waterline, gives a brightening affect to the whole eye area
- Use as nude lip liner as the formula is very soft. It actually looks a lot like MAC's Naked l/l
- Looks great blended as brow highlighter
- Underneath the waterline on the lower lashline
- Works great as spot concealer on fair to light medium skintones
- Love, love this as tear duct highlighter

Overall, two thumbs up! Stila's Topaz Kajal liner is a winner in my book and I will run a repurchase one as soon as I run out. Here's a quick swatch on my hand:

Rage is the other Orly's Foil FX polish I purchased from VNS a couple of weeks ago. Just like Luxe, Rage is a beautiful minx like finish polish. The colour of this one I would describe as Rose Gold and I love the almost mirror like shine. The application and quality of Rage was excellent.

My sore throat is still with me and it's keeping me up at night. I actually tried taking some cough syrup before bed but it didn't do much. I think I have to go see a doctor soon. For the moment though I'm trying to stay awake at work.

I was making a blog post about yesterday's FOTD last night while very exhausted. That's when I thought about the topic of today's poll. To those of you who blog, how many posts do you guys make per week? If you don't blog, how often do you think a blogger should make new posts? I personally usually post once a day or at least 4 times a week. It really depends on what I have to say that week but for the most part I stay consistent. Blogging is a fun activity for me and I don't mind taking a few minutes out of my day to do this. However, there are days like yesterday when it was totally a drag coz I was so exhausted. But on the other hand I didn't want to disappoint the readers or be inconsistent so I posted anyway.

I wore the Nars duo called Habanera that Shayla got me as a present. I love this duo and I cannot thank Shayla enough. This is actually been on my wishlist for months now and I finally have it in my hands. I really especially like the aqua side as it's uber pigmented and gorgeous. The only thing I don't like about today's look is my damn nasty eyebrows. I gotta not post any looks until I get them fixed this Saturday.
