I went out on Friday night for a party celebrating a friend/coworker's 30th b-day as well as a goodbye party for another coworker. I work with a lot of peeps who are between 28-35 years old and we are a tight group who often go out together. There were about 25 of us at the restaurant/lounge and we had a blast. Good food and many alcoholic beverages were consumed.

I did a navy blue smokey eye with some glitter that I wasn't a huge fan of but I took pics so I thought I share anyway. Here we go:

Cover FX Primer
MUFE HD - 118 (Flesh)
Ben Nye powder
Nars Laguna bronzer

UDPP - base for upper lid
BB Cobalt Ink g/l - base for lid and lower lashline
Prussian e/s - used to blend and smoke out Cobalt Shimmer
Inglot Matte #371 - mid lid
NYX Black e/s - outer v
Inglot Matte #390 - above crease
Vanilla p/m - highlight
Reflects Blue - inner lid
Lise Watier Noir Intense - to line
Feline e/k - waterline
Lancome Hypnose mascara

Myth l/s
Underage l/g

and here's a couple of pics of the outfit I wore. I'm a big believer in "little black dress" and so I have a few. This one is one of my "can't think of what to wear" pieces that always looks polished:

and some random shots from the party. I tried to look for the ones where I wasn't making a face but that was impossible!

I'm surprised you don't like the look, I really love it! I think it goes perfectly with what you're wearing as well (:

I love that dress, I haven't been able to find a really nice LBD, but I agree it's definitely a staple.
